ORDERS + TIMELINES

Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email with your order number. Once we have fulfilled the order, you will be sent another email confirming that the order is ready for pickup, or that is has been shipped or that it is on it’s way out for delivery (or will be delivered on your requested date)

At this time:

  • General orders for pickup or delivery will be ready within 1-2 days of placing your order.

  • Care packages + Giant Cookies are accommodated on the date you requested in your order, so long as there is at least 24 hours notice. If we cannot accommodate your requested date we will be in touch asap to arrange alternate times.

  • Canada-Wide Shipping orders are being fulfilled within 1-3 business days.

INVENTORY

We do our best to ensure the inventory in our online shop is up to date, but sometimes things can be sold out unexpectedly. If we do not have the items you ordered, we will contact you to discuss replacing it or providing you with a refund.

RETURNS + CANCELLATIONS

All fresh/frozen food or baked goods are final sale, however we want you you to be satisfied with all your purchases at Black Market Provisions. If you have a concern or issue with one of your fresh food products, please chat with one of our staff and they will assist you happily.

For pantry provisions or gift items, we will accept returns for store credit or product exchange within 2 weeks of the date of purchase. Products must be unopened/in their original packaging + condition and be accompanied by your receipt.

We do not cover the cost of shipping for returns of products that were shipped or delivered.

SHIPPING

We use CANADA POST as our shipper of choice. You will receive tracking information via email once your order has shipped. If you do not receive your order within 7 days of receiving tracking info or 10 days of placing your order, please contact us at orders@blackmarketwpg.com so we can see where it is.

We ship our packages with insurance for the value of your order, so if items arrive damaged, please let us know asap and include photos of damaged items.

We ship our items with the expectation that if you are not available to access the shipment a card will be left for you to pickup the item at a Canada Post depot.

Unfortunately, shipping to PO boxes results in extra shipping costs that the client will be responsible for and we may be in touch to see if you want to continue with shipping.

We are not responsible for delays in delivery times due to slower ship times at Canada Post due to volume, weather, pandemic or general delays, or due to incorrect or incomplete addresses so please check to ensure your shipping address info is correct. If your parcel does not arrive within 7 days of tracking or 10 days of placing your order or is sent back to us due to re-routing or due to receiver not picking it up from the Canada Post depot, we will not refund shipping charges nor will we ship out again at our cost.

LOCAL DELIVERY

Our local delivery is handled via courier and deliveries occur between 10AM-6PM. Please leave any delivery instructions in the notes at checkout (ie: if we are not home, leave with neighbour, or leave behind fence, etc)

GENERAL ORDERS - Will be sent out within 24 hours of you receiving your fulfillment email or on the date you requested for Care packages or Giant Cookies. If you are not home when your order is delivered it will be left on your doorstep. Refunds will not be issued for packages that may go missing or that are damaged/ruined due to poor weather. We suggest you leave a bin or cooler out so that our driver can adequately hide your order + so that it is semi-protected from the weather.

CARE PACKAGES or GIANT COOKIES - It is assumed that when you place your care package order that you know that the recipient will be home, and we do not typically contact them ahead of delivery to ensure that they will be there to receive it. If recipient is not home our courier will phone to see if it can be left unattended or with a neighbour and then will make a judgement call as to if it should be left on the doorstep or brought back to the shop, in which case you will be responsible for an additional delivery fee or will need to come pick it up from the shop. Refunds will not be issued for orders that can’t be delivered or picked up.
